Kannabis van de Bucxtale is barely 8 year old. He already won bronze at the World Championship for Young Horses as a 6-year-old, became Belgian Champion as a 7-year old, and from today on, he will be named the winner of the CSI3* Grand Prix BMW Centrauto powered by Flandria Rent. In this difficult class only 9 of the 60 combinations were able to qualify for the jump-off. Dominique Hendrickx and Kannabis (Contact van de Heffinck) immediately set the tone by staying clear in 36.48 sec. The other combinations did their best, but eventually lost it from Hendrickx... The Olympic rider Malin Baryard-Johnsson and H&M Indiana (Kashmir van Schuttershof) came closest to his performance: they finished their jump off in 39.78 sec and became second. Tom Dhaeyere was the last starter and took his time for a clear round which earned him a third place in 41.39 sec with James vd Oude Heihoef (Douglas). Karel Cox and Evert (Amadeus) managed to dive under Hendrickx's time in 35.12 seconds but got one fault and finished fourth. Bart Clarys and Joie de Toulon (Toulon) closed the top five with one down in 38.20 sec.
