The young French rider Titouan Schumacher won his second 4* class at the De Kraal International, the Landscape for Horses and Boomkwekerij Van Den Berk Prize. The Frenchman won also the Ashford Farm Prize on Thursday. Schumacher won this 1.40m competition with the 13-year-old SF stallion Paradis Latin (Heartbreaker x Quabri De Lateu) in 0-59.81. The stallion is owned by Haras des Brimbelles, his family’s stud.
Brazil’s André Reichmann finished runner-up with the seven-year-old gelding Calviska de la Falize Z (Zang, Calvados Z x Papillon Rouge) with a clear round in 59.99 seconds. Best Belgian combination was Ann Carton-Grootjans and Irvine Ter Doorn (BWP, Toulon x Sir Lui) in third place.
