The 2* Grand Prix, the Thegra Tracomex Holding Grand Prix, was dominated by riders of Ashford Farm. But it was also a ‘marital’ battle. Angelica Augustsson-Zanotelli beat her husband Marlon Modolo Zanotelli in the exciting jump-off and Marlon had to be satisfied with second place. The 29-year-old Swedish rider said afterwards: “Marlon told me that he had lost time at the double and that I could save time there. I did not ride like crazy but my horse is very fast. I only ride him since this year, he is really fun to ride.” Marlon and Angelica will soon set up their own stable, but “unfortunately I can not take Baloucento with me,” she smiled. Angelica  was clear with the 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding (Baloubet du Rouet x Cento) in 38.38 seconden.

Runner-up Marlon stopped the clock at 39.17 Holsteiner mare Madame Butterfly (Corrado I x Lavall II). Third place went to Ashord Farm rider Stefanie van den Brink (NED) with Merida (ISH, Metropole x Hildenley). They were only 0.02 second slower than Modolo Zanotelli.
