Prize Transport Van De Poel

Patrick Stühlmeyer wins on his favourite stallion Chacgrano!

The prize Transport Van De Poel, a 1 m 50 ranking class with jump off, was quite difficult, only 9 out of 49 starters qualified for the jump off.
29 yr old Patrick Stühlmeyer rode Chacgrano perfectly to victory. Chacgrano is a 12 yer old stallion by Chacco-Blue out of a Grannus dam, bred and owned by Gestüt Lewitz. This Stud is stands of course for Paul Schockemöhle probably the biggest but also the most succesful breeder in the world. Chacco-Blue was his favourite stallion that unfortunately died of colic a few years ago. It also seems to be his best one because he is first on the stalliion ranking of the World Breeding for Sporthorses and his foals are sold for high prices.
Rider Patrick Stühlmeyer is of course not the least, he is number 187 on the Longines Ranking for jumping riders and is having quite a season with the OS stallion. Two weeks ago the German finished twice 3rd in 1 m 50 classes at the CSI2* in Verden and at the CHIO Aachen he placed fifth in a big class. This victory at the Kraal International is the icing on the cake!
