Tal Milstein Prize ends in Brazilian party

The sportive closure of Friday of De Kraal International, the Tal Milstein Prize (CSI4*, Table A against the clock, 1.50m) was won by Brazilian top rider Marlon Modolo Zanotelli with Rock’N Roll Semilly (SF, Diamant de Semilly x Apache d’Adriers). The 28-year-old rider stepped on the accelerator and beat the time set by Britain’s Jessica Mendoza. The Brazilian clearly feels at home in Belgium. In 2008 he moved to Belgium to to the stables of Ludo Philippaerts and now he rides for Ashford Farm in Bocholt, Belgium.

Jessica Mendoza (GBR) who was in the lead for quite some time had to settle for second place with her 15-year-old AES mare Spirit T (Tornado x Carnaval Drum). Gilles Dunon úpheld Belgium’s honour and finished in third with Fou de Toi VD Keihoeve (BWP, Toulon x Melkior du Montois).
